I think it would be great to have a maximumSelections property for SCSelectionCell.

If the developer sets maximumSelections = 3 (given that allowMultipleSelection = YES), then the user may only select 3 rows in the detailView also triggering the auto close that is in the beta.

Yes you can starting from our 1.6 release (due in less than 3 days). The bound string will contain all selections separated by a semi-colon.
