TOPIC: Adding Documentation

Adding Documentation 1 year, 2 months ago #1

Noob question. How do I add the SC documentation into xCode?

Thanks

Re: Adding Documentation 1 year, 2 months ago #2

Hi David,

In your STV package, please navigate to the Documentation/Docset folder. From there, please copy the file "com.custom.Sensible TableView.docset" to the folder: /Users/$USER/Library/Developer/Shared/Documentation/DocSets/ (where $USER is your username on the machine)

You can also read about this in the Readme file present in the same Docset folder. Please tell me if you need any further help.

Hi Tarek, my mistake. I had put the docs in a slightly misspelled folder.. oops.

I haven't found a way to do this in XCode 4. Anybody else?

I assume that the docset bundle has to be placed in the exact same location. I've tried this and several other locations, e.g. /Xcode4/Documentation/..., all to no avail.

Maybe the docset bundle spec has changed?

The simplest and most comfortable solution would be a docset feed. Tarek?

Hi guys,

We've experienced this ourselves too and we tend to believe that the docset specs have been changed, though there is very little documentation from Apple on this issue. We expect to be able to resolve the issue during the coming week.

I'll keep you guys updated, thanks!
