TOPIC: Can I subclass SCTableViewCell and use a custom xib?

Can I subclass SCTableViewCell and use a custom xib? 1 year, 6 months ago #1

Hi Tarek,

Can I subclass SCTableViewCell and use a custom xib to layout an object. I'll likely use a SCTableViewSection and add the cell(s) with the addCell method, but I'd like to bind UILabels in the UITableViewCell to properties of the custom SCTableViewCell.

Is this possible now? If not consider this a feature request.

Hi Gary,

This is exactly what our next release is about! You'll be able to design cells in Interface Builder and automatically bind your custom controls to specific object properties or Core Data entity attributes. We should have something functional before the end of this month. I'll keep you posted.
