The badveView text should change its color on selection to be more visible (white)

Also, it looks like there is a half-pixel dis-alignment on non-retina displays

You're right Peter, that's the default behavior in Apple's applications. Thanks a lot for the tip! We'll also check the half pixel issue.

I notice this issue on the iPad display as well, including the item count badge in an ArrayofObjects cell.

Some check for isHighlighted and changing colors should do the trick.

Yes - we're about to release, so a intermediate release would be good.
(maybe you just provide the tested, stable version and for registered users also access to your dev branch; as i run now 1.5.7 or sth like that...)
